Choir Retreat and Season Tickets
Dear Parents and Students,
Below is information about purchasing tickets for the upcoming concert on Thursday 9/22 at 7pm. There is also information about our Choir Retreat on Saturday 9/17.
Questions? Let me know.
All the best,
Mr. DeValk
CHOIR RETREAT
…Will be held on Saturday 9/17, 8am - 1:30pm. This is a time for all 160 choir kids to get together and get to know each other more by playing ice-breakers, games, and other getting-to-know-you activities. We'll also hear from a guest speaker. We'll have lunch ($$ required TBD) and then we end the morning by having each choir perform 1 song from the upcoming concert. If your student can't make it for some reason, an email to me from a parent is required. Otherwise, we'll expect to see your student.
SEASON TICKETS
An email was sent out a couple of weeks ago. Apparently, it didn't reach everyone. Please visit the Parent Portal on the cdschoir.com website to see all emails that have been sent out thus far.
The best way to acquire Season Tickets is to visit this link and follow the instructions in the document. The deadline to purchase Season Tickets is Thursday September 15 by the end of school. There is no up-charge on season tickets! It's just the most convenient way to get in the door for the concert.
You may also purchase tickets to the concerts from the CdS Bookstore the week of each show during school hours.
And the worst way to purchase tickets is the night of the concert at the door. There's always a line outside in the heat, and we can only take cash or check. And if the show is sold out, you may not be able to see your student perform.

Parent Info Email August 2, 2022
Hello Parents of CdS Choir!
My name is Andrew DeValk and I'm proud to be the Choir Director here at CdS.
I'll be sending out more info later this week, but I wanted to invite you all to a meeting taking place in 1 week on Tuesday August 9th at 6:30pm in the CdS Auditorium.
This will be a chance to meet other parents of the program and to learn about volunteer opportunities we have available to parents and family members of choir students.
Even if you can't or would rather not volunteer this year, please come to just say hello and learn about the program's opportunities for students. And if you can't make this meeting, you can still help out this year.
If you're new to Corona and Tempe Union, know that all parents who would like to volunteer must be a cleared volunteer with the district. You can start that process right away if you'd like by visiting this link. If you've volunteered for CdS in the past and would like to do so again this year, please respond to this email so I can forward your name to our Activities Office to re-up your file.
In the mean time, visit www.cdschoir.com to learn more about the program.
I CAN'T WAIT to see your students and dive into the year! It's going to be great.
All the best,
Andrew DeValk

Dear Parents and Students, Today, we kick off our season ticket sales!
It's as easy as 1-2-3!
Please be flexible on your chosen seats. They will be assigned based on first come first served basis (the receipts are time stamped). Tickets for the entire season will be delivered to your student in class.
There are 2 huge benefits:
1. Same seats all year long!
2. No waiting in line on the night of the concert. Just walk in, show your tickets, and have a seat. Those who haven't purchased their tickets in advance need to wait in line to buy a ticket the night of the concert.
And finally, CdS Choir is known to sell out concerts. Season ticket holders need not worry! They'll always have a seat.
If you have any questions, please contact Launa Geren - Season Ticket Parent Volunteer - at cdschoirseasontix@gmail.com.
We'll see you at the concerts!
